Today Chesterfield Associates is a diversified consulting practice.  With a recent focus on alternative energy companies seeking to establish a business presence in the United States, services provided include marketing and business services; English-German interpretation and translation; grant writing; Internet research on public policy issues; media outreach; event planning; marketing; as well as business and project development. Past and current clients include lobbyists, engineers, attorneys, physicians, professional service organizations, construction, alternative energy (digester technology, photovoltaics) and other technology companies.

 

Sylke Chesterfield, principal of Chesterfield Associates, is currently completing her BA from Empire State College with a Major in International Business.  She was born and educated in Germany and is fluent in both English and German. 

 

Community Involvement

 

In early 2009, Ms. Chesterfield become a volunteer tutor for basic literature and English Speakers of Other Languages with the Literacy Volunteers of Rensselaer County.  She has also volunteered at the Mohawk Hudson River Humane Society, and served as a volunteer on the board of directors of the International Center of the Capital Region from 2006 - 2008.
